Pam Kaufman

President and CEO, International Markets, Global Consumer Products & Experiences

Paramount

Pam Kaufman is President and CEO of International Markets, Global Consumer Products & Experiences for Paramount, one of the largest entertainment companies in the world. Pam is responsible for leading the continued globalization of Paramount’s operations, driving growth of the company’s international business across six continents, which includes an expansive streaming portfolio, free-to-air and cable networks, as well as a vast studio footprint. Under Pam’s leadership, the company has expanded Paramount+ globally, with the service now streaming in 45 markets and has continued to expand Pluto TV, which is live in 35 territories.

Pam also oversees the global consumer products and experiences organization, representing well over $6 billion in worldwide retail revenue. The organization covers all brands across the Paramount portfolio including BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures and SHOWTIME, and their iconic franchises, including PAW Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, JoJo Siwa, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek, South Park, Yellowstone, Emily in Paris, Beavis & Butt-Head, Mean Girls, The Godfather and the highest grossing film of 2022 Top Gun: Maverick, among others. Pam’s oversight includes worldwide product merchandising and licensing as well as business development, marketing, franchise planning, creative strategy, retail sales and consumer insights. In addition, Pam’s purview
includes gaming and NFTs along with experiences and themed entertainment such as hotels, resorts, live tours, Broadway and Vidcon.

Under Pam’s leadership, the Consumer Products business has evolved its overall structure by putting the full power of the  vast Paramount ecosystem behind its most valuable IP.  Pam has spearheaded an incredible team that has led to definitional deals for the company, including some of the most innovative co-branded collaborations with the biggest names in social media (JoJo Siwa) and fashion (Jeremy Scott/Moschino). Additionally, the Consumer Products organization launched The
SpongeBob Shop, Paramount’s first direct-to-consumer e-commerce site in 2019. Off that success, eight more direct-to-consumer shops have since launched tied to various iconic Paramount brands including similar standalone initiatives for Star Trek, South Park, and MTV. Pam also helmed the Global Consumer Products campaign for PAW Patrol: The Movie -- the first-ever feature length film based on global preschool sensation PAW Patrol – which, combined, boasted the most tie-in products and global retailers of any film the company has distributed to date.

Guided by the vision of Pam, the Paramount Consumer Products team established a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative, focusing on People & Culture, to build meaningful connections and start brave conversations; Partners, to commit to diversifying our partners to authentically represent all consumers in each territory; Products, to ensure accurate representation of our characters and audiences across all products; and Industry, to focus on meaningful change in the licensing industry through leadership and proactive outreach.

Pam is the Executive Sponsor of Paramount’s WOMEN+ Employee Resource Group, where she champions women and allies of all levels across the company. Pam advocates for this internal community as the liaison between the company’s Senior Leadership and WOMEN+ and helps promote the ERG’s initiatives and grows community-wide Executive Champions to scale inclusivity efforts across the organization. A passionate advocate for women and families, Pam also serves on the board of
Bottomless Closet, a nonprofit that prepares women for workplace success, and for the Pace Women’s
Justice Center.

Pam is a member of the Board of Directors of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, advising on campaigns and company direction. Most recently, Pam joined the board of Stella McCartney Ltd.
