Alonso Carrillo serves as the Senior Manager of Content Acquisitions and Partnerships, acting as the global TV Lead for all third-party licensed television acquisition deals at Tubi.

He oversees programming decisions and manages content acquisition strategy across all major studio, independent, and distributor partnerships. Carrillo is tasked with expanding Tubi’s television offering across a variety of content categories and developing innovative business models that serve in bringing new and exciting content to the platform.

Prior to joining Tubi, Carrillo was part of the Nonfiction Licensing and Co-production team at Netflix, where he also contributed to the creative process across several original commissions. During his time at Netflix, Carrillo focused on Unscripted content, as well as Documentary Series. Carrillo was directly responsible for building out Netflix’s Nonfiction Canadian strategy as well as for 30+ co-productions across Canada, UK, and Australia/New Zealand. 

Carrillo has also held positions at HBO Latin America, growing HBO’s VOD offering across partners in LATAM and the Caribbean. 

Originally from Lima, Peru, he currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
