Craig Junner, SVP, Programming & Content Strategy, oversees all aspects of the content and programming strategy for Blue Ant Media’s FAST, AVOD, SVOD and linear channels globally, including acquisitions, original programming and scheduling.
He has been at the helm of launching Blue Ant Media’s portfolio of FAST channels, including HauntTV, Homeful, CrimeTime, TotalCrime, HistoryTime, Love Pets, NatureTime and Drag Race Universe. Craig is integral to the company’s robust strategy to continue expanding its FAST business across UK, EMEA and Latin America as the international free-streaming ecosystem matures.
Craig joined Blue Ant Media at its inception in 2011 as Senior Manager of Programming. He has played a vital role in the launch and re-launch of several specialty TV channels within the company’s expanding channels business, including Love Nature, Smithsonian Channel (Canada), BBC Earth (Canada), BBC First (Canada). With a career spanning 20+ years, Craig previously served in senior roles leading and managing programming teams for some of Canada’s key broadcasters, including Global Television, CanWest, CTV and Shaw Media, while also contributing to all channel launches and integrations attached to M&A activities.
