In her role, she spearheads the development and production of MarVista’s entire content pipeline for all FOX Entertainment and an array of third-party platforms in the U.S. and abroad.

Under her leadership, MarVista has significantly increased its content development and production, with Pillemer now responsible for managing a slate of approximately 90-plus films per year, as well as television series, across a wide range of budgets and genres—from thrillers and romcoms to family, young adult, kids, and holiday.

MarVista is aggressively ramping up development focusing on premiere talent in front and behind the screen including recent projects include the feature comedy “First Time Female Director,” starring, written, directed and produced by Chelsea Peretti and co-produced by Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions. Co-starring Blake Anderson, Kate Berlant, Jak Knight, Megan Mullally, Benito Skinner and Meg Stalter with Amy Poehler, Max Greenfield, Tim Heidecker, Xosha Roquemore and Andy Richter, “First Time Female Director” made its world premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, where the film was sold to Roku. Pillemer also oversaw production of MarVista’s romantic comedy “Daughter of the Bride, starring Marcia Gay Harden, Halston Sage, Andrew Richardson and Aidan Quinn; Amazon Prime Video’s “Christmas is Canceled,” starring Hayley Orrantia, Dermot Mulroney and Janel Parrish; the indie feature, “Stay Awake,” with an award-winning debut at the 2022 Berlin Film Festival and starring Chrissy Metz; and the Hallmark Channel original drama series “The Way Home,” which currently ranks as the number-one most-watched program on Sunday nights and will soon go into production on its second season.

In addition, Pillemer serves as Executive Vice President, Creative Services, of the Canadian production company Neshama Entertainment, in which MarVista owns a minority stake.

Prior to joining MarVista, Pillemer worked in production on multiple high-profile projects at HBO Films, including the Steven Soderbergh-helmed “Behind the Candelabra,” starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon.
