2026 Honoree
Courtney Mock
Lionsgate
New Establishment
Recognized for a track record of identifying and delivering on what audiences want next,
from breakthrough original hits (The Studio, The Hunting Wives) to highly sought-after IP
(Midnight Sun, Oldboy).
Courtney Mock is SVP, Scripted Television Development for Lionsgate Television, where she’s spearheaded breakout hits like Seth Rogen’s The Studio for Apple TV (which won a record 13 Emmys), and Netflix’s The Hunting Wives (which spent six weeks in Netflix’s U.S. top 10 upon debut).
The New Establishment Award celebrates emerging leaders who are shaking things up and charting a new path, and Mock’s record at Lionsgate puts her squarely at the forefront of next gen content creation leadership.
Actively championing diverse narratives, and anticipating (and delivering) what audiences want next are qualities that make Mock stand out. From negotiating complex deals to collaborating effectively with top-tier talent, her prowess for navigating from development to screen is evident across an impressive project slate.
Mock is shepherding the highly anticipated adult animated Twilight TV adaptation, Midnight Sun, from Stephenie Meyer – which is being readied for production at Netflix – and developing the first English-language series adaptation of Park Chan-wook’s acclaimed film Oldboy.
She’s also worked on hits like CBS’s Ghosts, and driven international co-productions, managing the development of Prosper for Roku in the U.S., and the comedy Population 11, both of which come through Lionsgate’s partnership with the Australian network Stan.
Beyond her creative impact, Mock mentors rising talent through Lionsgate’s programs and advocates for working parents as a member of the PaCT employee group.
