As Executive Vice President of Scripted Development at Endemol Shine North America, Lisa Fahrenholt is responsible for the development and execution of scripted programming across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms. In this role, she oversees both original content and U.S. adaptations of global formats from Banijay’s extensive international catalog. Fahrenholt collaborates with top-tier talent to develop, package, and produce high-quality scripted series across all genres and for all buyers.
Fahrenholt currently serves as Executive Producer on the critically acclaimed series Like Water for Chocolate for HBO Max, which is in production for its second season. She previously played a role in the development and launch of Emmy award winning drama series, Ripley for Netflix, written and directed by Academy Award winner Steve Zaillian (Schindler’s List) and starring Andrew Scott (Fleabag). Other development credits include Amazon’s Utopia, created by bestselling author Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl), and FOX’s Almost Family, written by Annie Weisman (Physical) and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights).
Prior her current role, Fahrenholt served as Director of North American Acquisitions at Endemol Shine International. As Director, she oversaw finished program acquisitions and co-financing opportunities for the company’s global distribution arm.
