ERIKA KENNAIR joins THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO from Extracurricular, Malala Yousafzai’s entertainment company, where she served as President. During her tenure, she oversaw projects, such as the Academy Award®-Nominated Best Documentary Short Film Stranger At the Gate and the AppleTV+ documentary The Last of the Sea Women with A24. Previously, Kennair served as Senior Vice President of Development at Berlanti Productions where she oversaw the procurement and development of new scripted and unscripted series. She produced the Emmy®, Golden Globes®, Critics Choice, PGA, DGA and SAG nominated The Flight Attendant for HBO Max; You for Netflix; the docu-series Helter Skelter for Epix; and Prodigal Son for FOX. Other roles included VP of Comedy Development at ABC Entertainment Group and Manager of Entertainment Diversity Programs at NBC Entertainment. Kennair also serves on the executive board of The Humanitas Prize. Kennair is based in Los Angeles.
