Chris Regina is Chief Content Officer for TCL North America. Since joining the company in February, 2023, his focus is on building the company’s AIGC initiative, IDEO interactive, strategy, acquisitions, UI/UX and original development for
TCLtv+ FAST/AVOD streaming service.
Prior to joining TCL, Chris worked at Netflix, where he spent nearly five years overseeing strategy and production on their scripted development team and built genre focused studio GnT Inc. which yielded hit horror titles including Resident Evil, Black Summer, Keep Breathing and Warrior Nun.
He joined Netflix after a nearly 20 year career at NBCUniversal in a variety of senior development and programming roles across the cable division, including Senior Vice President, Programming - Syfy & Chiller and Senior Vice President, Original Co-Productions – Syfy, USA, & Chiller. During his time with the cable group he oversaw original series and films, strategy, scheduling and acquisitions and a VOD day/date theatrical division at Syfy Channel and Chiller. While at Syfy, he produced over 350 films including the iconic Sharknado franchise and engineered original co-productions including Van Helsing, Wynonna Earp, Dark Matter and Z Nation.
He began his career as a Program Director at WGTW TV48 in Philadelphia. Chris graduated Rowan University with a degree in Communications, Radio/TV/Film specialization.
