Damián Villar began his career at Televisa in 1999. Over more than two decades, he has held key positions in operations, administration, production, content, and innovation. His experience across key business areas has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of the content ecosystem—from ideation and production to packaging, sales, and adaptation to new platforms.

In recent years, Villar has served as General Director of Televisa Networks, leading the operation, strategy, and renewal of multiple channels and brands within the portfolio. Under his leadership, Televisa Networks has driven innovation in programming, resource optimization, and digital transformation.

His cross-functional experience led him to oversee the launch of ViX’s microdramas, which has seen tremendous success. With a business-centered approach to content, he has championed a model that combines creativity, operational efficiency, and commercial strategy.

Today, his work positions ViX as a leader in microcontent across the U.S. and Mexico.
