Paul Buccieri is President & Chairman of A+E Networks Group, home to some of the most powerful brands in media including A&E, Lifetime, The HISTORY Channel, LMN, FYI and Vice TV. Paul oversees all aspects of the company, including Programming, Ad Sales, People Team, Communications, Global Content Sales and Licensing, the Scripted and Unscripted studios, Distribution, Marketing, Digital, and Legal and Risk. Paul is also laser focused on ensuring that all of the above is rooted in a strong corporate culture with an engaged workforce.
Paul began his role at A+E Networks Group in 2015 as A&E and HISTORY’s president, later becoming president of A+E Studios and A+E Networks Portfolio Group and then entering into his current position in 2018. Before his tenure at A+E Networks Group, Paul held executive leadership roles at Fox Twentieth Television, ITV Studios U.S. Group, ITV Studios Global Entertainment and Endemol USA.
Buccieri is a leading media executive, bringing extensive experience in worldwide production, distribution, and syndication of both scripted and non-scripted programming across a wide range of genres and platforms, both linear and digital. He has a proven track record of driving forward both creative and commercial growth and implementing innovative business models.
Under Buccieri’ s leadership, A+E Networks has been recognized for its significant philanthropic commitment. The company is a leader in historic preservation, honoring veterans, and supporting heart health and breast cancer research. Buccieri serves on the Television Academy’s Executive Committee and on the boards of The Roybal High School Film and Television Production Magnet, the Elton John AIDS Foundation, and on the NAACP Entertainment Industry Board of Advisors. He also serves on the board of College Track, the most comprehensive college completion program in the country.
