A Co-Founder and Executive Producer at Starlings Television, Chris Philip is a veteran of three decades in film and television with roles that also include writer, development executive, packager, producer, financier and distributor.

Philip, utilizing an innovative production model for his global Starlings Television series, just completed the first season executive producing The CW and Warner Bros. Discovery UK’s "SHERLOCK & DAUGHTER" with David Thewliss as the legendary detective.  Additionally, he is an Executive Producer of three seasons of the award-winning ongoing series "DEPARTURE" with Archie Panjabi, airing on Global Network in Canada and Peacock in the U.S., and sci-fi series “PANDORA,” a Saturn Award-nominated series that aired on The CW.

Recently, Philip received the Golden Palm at the Beverly Hills Film Festival for "THE KINDNESS WITHIN," the first-ever feature to win both Best Documentary and the festival's pinnacle accolade. He has also produced several other series throughout his career. 

Earlier, Philip spent 13 years as an executive at Universal, distributing the studio's feature blockbusters and TV series, and started his career at Alfred Haber Distribution before becoming a VP at PolyGram Filmed Entertainment, which produced films such as “The Big Lebowski,” “Dead Man Walking,” “Elizabeth” and “Fargo.”
