Steven Katleman provides legal, business and strategic advice and counsel to domestic and international media companies, producers, talent, content owners, and others that provide or acquire rights and services for projects across virtually all types of entertainment and media, including television, film, digital productions, sports and live events. His experience extends to branding, advertising, entertainment and sports marketing, sponsorships, endorsements, consumer products, publishing, and guild and union matters.
He also advises clients on matters pertaining to financing needed in order to supplement shrinking budgets that networks and platforms are willing to cover, by various means, such as international or domestic co-productions, subsidies, incentives and brand sponsorships. Steve often acts as "outside general counsel" to independent production companies and others, providing legal and strategic advice to senior management.
